According to an Associated Press report, there is a man from Plattsburg, New York who is facing felony charges. This is because he allegedly struck his mother in the head after a disagreement about Katherine McPhee. McPhee is the American Idol season five runner up.Cory Favreau, the son and is 24 years old, did not quite like it when his mother, Jan Chagnon, told him that McPhee would be having a successful career despite the fact that she did not win the said contest. He struck his mom using a sharpened, cross-shaped object that was attached to a bicycle chain.
