Tyson Gets Caught. Again.

Boxer Mike Tyson may have been able to do away from drug rehab but it looks like things are still not going good for him. He was just recently caught because he was suspected of driving under the influence and also of possession of cocaine.

Tyson may already be 40 years old but he is still planning of going back to the ring. But with his kind of attitude and with his kind of habits, it may quite be a long time before he an actually reclaim his glory.

A source close to the boxer says, “Mike can't shake the drugs. He checked himself into rehab because he says he's broke and his only means of supporting himself is boxing. He had to get clean. He admits he does cocaine and mushrooms (a hallucinogenic) and that he drinks too much. But after only nine days, he left the facility, saying he felt like he was in a cage. One of the first things he did was find a nightclub and party with friends!”

It’s Poitier’s Memoir For Oprah

Oprah has shared that she has chosen Sidney Poitier’s memoir, “The Measure Of A Man”, as her personal choice of a great book. This great book allows readers to take a look inside the actor’s childhood, faith, thoughts, and ideas on the various things that has come through his lifetime.

On this, Oprah says on her show, “He writes really candidly and passionately about his childhood, his family, relationships and his extraordinary career. It (the book) really is about what makes character, what makes you be who you are. He is the measure of one of the greatest men I think who has ever been on our planet.”

And it looks like Poitier has been quite happy with this wherein he shares, “I proudly accept this honor on behalf of the forces that brought it about: the love of my parents, the ever-present kindness of strangers, and the hidden mysteries of the universe and, of course, Oprah Winfrey.”

Cancer Center Bows Down To Marcia Wallace

Much honor and recognition was given to Marcia Wallace who was made quite popular because of “The Bob Newhard Show”. It was the Roswell Park Cancer Institute which gave such an accolade to the celebrity.

Wallace was given such an honor because of her contribution to helping out let Americans learn more about cancer and why it is important for people to check cancer as early as possible. This actress has been quite a model for such a campaign for she, herself, has been a survivor of breast cancer.

Skinny Does Not Equate To Models

Undersized and skinny models have been banned from Spain’s Fashion Week. And it looks like with the New York Fashion Week coming up, such a trend would be following suit.

Well, at least that is a good move. And according to the Council of Fashion Designers of America, they are going to take a stand on the weight debate that is going in and about the world of fashion and modeling. The committee of the fashion week would be working to make guidelines for both designers and models. Too skinny and you’re out.

Von Furstenberg, the CFDA president, does state, “The fashion industry is acknowledging this weight debate as a serious issue. Together, with the medical professionals, we are committing to promoting good health and helping these young girls.”

Hilary Duff’s Stalker Goes To Jail

Hilary Duff has a stalker and the stalker turns out to be an immigrant from Russia who is 18 years old. When caught, Maksim Myaskovskiy, was sentenced to four months in jail in Los Angeles County.

According to the actress (who also is a singer), Myaskovskiy had threatened to kill her. So she had a private investigator working on her case. Myaskovskiy was caught last November.

Are You Missing Steve Irwin?

If you are, then you are surely going to like the coming Steve Irwin action figure. Yes, this crocodile hunter has already been enshrined through action figures and this toy would be speaking with the crocodile hunter’s own voice.

Next month, the Steve Irwin action figure goes on sale.

Thanks to K&M International, the Steve Irwin action figure has become reality and it would be unveiled at the 2007 International Toy Fair. And the action figure is going to be just part of the Steve Irwin Wildlife Adventure Series which is made up of 39 pieces.

The action figure comes in khaki shorts and a khaki shirt. The hiking boots that are very distinctly Steve Irwin would also be used.

Three Days Of Crying For Oprah

For three days, Oprah cried her eyes out. This was what she shared in her magazine’s February issue. What caused her to cry was when one of her relatives told the story of her getting pregnant at age 14 and her losing the baby after birth to the National Enquirer.

The story leaked out back in 1990 at the Enquirer. However, it was with Parade magazine that she did really confirm the story. Oprah’s baby was prematurely born and a short while after its birth, it died. And it was Patricia Lloyed, her half-sister, who told the story for money. Oprah did mention that the story made her half-sister $19,000 and upon hearing of what her relative done, Oprah cried for three days because her ‘hidden shame’ was already told to the public.

Oprah has been sexually abused since she was a little child and she now says that her experiences have made her stronger and has quite helped her grow to what she is currently.

No More Ski Holiday For Prince Charles

Much as he would like to take that ski holiday, it looks like he has decided to better feed the wants of his government than feed his own longing for that kind of holiday. You see, Prince Charles just cancelled the skiing holiday which has been a tradition for this celebrity. A spokesperson from his office said that the prince decided to do such a thing so as to lessen and tone down his carbon footprint.

The carbon footprint is actually the measure of the greenhouses gases that would be created by the activities that Prince Charles makes. So by cancelling his skiing holiday trip, it would be also toning down the greenhouses gases of his activities.

It has been learned that some advocacy groups have been campaigning for the prince to rather use video or satellite links instead of flying to awards ceremonies or other occassions where he is needed to receive an award so as to reduce greenhouses gases and help out keep the environment clean and green.

Britney’s Mommy To Baby Number 2

After Sean Preston, Britney Spears is now the mommy to Jayden James Federline. Of course, this baby is also fathered by Kevin Federline and is currently Britney’s second child.

Jayden James was born last September 12th and the during the early days after his birth, people were still wondering what the Britney’s new baby boy’s name really was. It was only just recently that the name was revealed after some people were able to research the birth certificate with the former pop star filed.

However, there are also some rumors going around that the name of this second son of Britney’s is actually Sutton Pierce. But then again, there is yet no one to confirm such. Britney and Kevin is sure keeping their mouths shut.

Lindsay Lohan: Off To Iraq?

Remember those days when people were sent off to far off places because of war and entertainers were flying off to visit them and give them a couple hours of glee?

Looks like Lindsay Lohan would also like to take part of that experience. She says, “I’ve been trying to go to Iraq with Hillary Clinton for so long – Hillary was trying to work it out, but it seemed too dangerous.

Robin Williams Goes To Rehab

Booze and liquor surely can destroy anything that you take as precious. And now Robin Williams has checked himself for rehab because he does want to save his marriage. According to sources, he got out of control with his drinking that he would often have repeated blackouts. And he was also seen hugging waitresses whereafter his wife told him to get help or she’s leaving him.

He chose to save his marriage of 17 years. So now he’s at the Hazelden Springbrook alcohol rehab facility located in Oregon. It’s going to take him 30 days to sober up. He tells a friend, “My drink of choice was vodka. I would buy two pints at a time, one for each jacket pocket. But I had to be careful. I didn’t want to be seen buying liquor every day.”

Sixth Sense Actor, Haley Joel Osment Gets In A Car Crash

Haley Joel Osment met an accident and now he suffers from a rib that is fractured and he also injured his shoulder. The accident happened early last Thursday when he lost control of the Saturn car that he was driving.

However, his doctor, Dr. Paul Gilbert, now claims that the actor is currently in good condition and he sure would be able to make a complete recovery soon enough.

Haley Joel was driving his car and heading towards his home which is in the Los Angeles area. However, after the crash, those who saw him first found the actor conscious and talking.

Celebrity Gossip Confirmed: Avril Lavigne Ties The Knot!

Avril Lavigne may be from Canada and so does her now hubby Deryck Whibley of Sum41. But they sure did like the US. They exchanged vows and tied the knot in California.

Their wedding sure would rock your world, just as both these rockers have rocked the music industry with their creations. Avril and Deryck’s wedding was held outdoor at a private estate. There were only around 110 guests in attendance. All rockers, I presume?

Avril is 21 years old and Deryck, her husband, is 26.

The TomKat/Suri Conspiracy Timeline

Here’s a good one. I cannot resist by copy it word for word. I got this from an email.

New rumors surface by the hour -- that Tom and Katie are holding out for a better magazine photo deal, that Scientology is involved in the mystery, that Suri doesn't even exist!

Rocker Avril Will Wed Sum41’s Deryck

Rumors have it in. Rocker Avril Lavigne would be marrying her rocker boyfriend Deryck Whibley soon enough.

According to the rumors, the couple is already preparing a traditional wedding ceremony for their trying the knot.

But then, this rumor has yet to be confirmed.

Neither Avril or Deryck has said anything about this.

And if it is true, this would be the first time both of them are going to get married.

Eminem In A Fight Again?

Detroit police are now looking into what seems to be another fight for Eminem.

According to news, this rapper has been involved in a fight in the men’s washroom in a strip club. So that’s where Eminem’s been going, huh? Anyhow, according to reports, this fight occurred on the early morning hours at the Cheetah strip club.

The victim is known as Miad J. and according to him, he was assaulted by Eminem. Because Miad J. told one of Eminem’s bodyguards to lay off on a fan that was quite star-struck. He further tells, “Eminem started swingin. I wasn’t even expecting it. I was just minding my own business.”

Former American Idol Contestant Gets Charges On Child Porn

He did not make it big on American Idol. And now, Daniel James Boyd, or much known as DJ Boyd, has just been indicted on charges on child pornography. Of course, he pleaded not guilty.

He was actually arrested around last month. This was because a girl who was 14 years old called up the police and pointed a finger at Boyd. This girl accused Boyd that he videotaped sexual acts he did with minors. He also was charged of supplying alcohol to minors which of course is against the law. And yes, he also has been accused of doing sexual activity with, yes, a minor.

That’s forty years for him. If he gets the “Guilty.” decision.
